Dana graduated from the University of Wyoming with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology and health promotion in 2012. She then went to physical therapy school at The University of Utah, graduating with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2015. She completed two clinical internships in outpatient orthopedics and one in the outpatient neuro setting as well as an acute internship.
Dana joined Casper Orthopedics and became a part of their physical therapy team in June 2015. Over the last few years, she has gained more experience treating orthopedic injuries, both surgical and nonsurgical. She has worked with back and neck pain with radicular and non-radicular components, knee pain, hip pain, ankle sprains, shoulder pain, and headaches. She works with joint arthroscopies, joint arthroplasties, fracture repairs, and neck and back fusions. She is certified in trigger point dry needling and completed continuing education courses for Kinesio® Taping, MET for the lumbar and sacral spine, and blood flow restriction therapy using a personal tourniquet system.
Dana enjoys having an active lifestyle, including sports and exercise. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
