Amanda Hirz, D.N.P., A.P.R.N., F.N.P.-C.

Amanda is a certified family nurse practitioner at Casper Orthopedics, focusing on comprehensive musculoskeletal care.

Amanda earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the University of Wyoming. Before becoming an advanced practice provider, Amanda spent many years as an emergency department registered nurse. Her extensive background in emergency medicine and acute trauma care gave her experience in managing complex injuries, sparking her specific clinical interest in orthopedics and long-term functional recovery.

Amanda began her nurse practitioner career with Banner Health in family practice and urgent care before transitioning her focus entirely to orthopedics. To stay at the forefront of her specialty, she maintains active memberships with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses (NAON).

Originally from Nebraska, Amanda lives in Wyoming with her husband and four children. Outside of the clinic, she stays busy attending her kids' various youth sports and family activities.
