Jay R. Arthur, M.D., fellowship-trained joint replacement surgeon, will be joining the team of doctors at Casper Orthopedics. As a fellowship-trained joint replacement surgeon, Dr. Arthur is highly skilled at assessing, diagnosing and treating orthopedic injuries and conditions, specializing in providing surgical and nonsurgical treatments for hip and knee joint issues. Using state-of-the-art techniques, including minimally invasive approaches, and innovative technologies, such as robotic-assisted surgery, he helps his patients achieve their best outcomes. Dr. Arthur attended Occidental College in Los Angeles for his undergraduate studies in kinesiology. He furthered his training at The University of Arizona by pursuing a Biomedical Sciences Graduate Certificate in cell biology and anatomy before earning his Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix. He then went on to complete a general surgery internship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago followed by his orthopedic surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix. He then completed a fellowship in adult joint reconstruction at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
