About Our Practice

Our Practice

Casper Orthopedics was founded in 1976 by Jerome A. Behrens, M.D. and John D. Bailey, M.D. These two senior partners, since retired, recruited additional doctors to join the team, and through the years, we have helped generation after generation reach better health.

We are loyal to our community and will continue to advance excellence in healthcare. Our organization has been striving not only to serve the needs of our region, but also to be an active part of our community. With your help and loyalty, we can continue to provide health services that you can depend on.

Casper Orthopedics' doctors enjoy a tight-knit, collegial relationship. They work closely with one another and the medical community to optimize patient care. Their specialties include trauma, spine, hand, foot & ankle, fracture care, joint replacement, and sports medicine.

We strongly believe that patient choice on healthcare issues is vital to providing excellent care. For that reason, we try to offer the most comprehensive collection of doctors, specialties, services, and facilities from which our patients can choose. Our main clinic is housed in a beautiful new office facility where the practice embraces technology by providing MRI, electronic medical records, physical and occupational therapy, and a state-of-the-art outpatient surgical center (Wyoming Surgical Center). We are ready to provide complete orthopedic care for our patients. Should hospitalization be part of our treatment plan, our surgeons operate at Summit Medical Center, Wyoming Medical Center, Memorial Hospital of Converse County, Mountain View Regional Hospital as well as Wyoming Surgical Center.

Our Mission

The mission of Casper Orthopedics is to ensure that patients with injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system will receive prompt, effective treatment with the best expertise and technology available in a manner that is compassionate and understanding of their needs.

With this mission in mind, Casper Orthopedics strives to maintain a vision comprised of three basic tenets: high ethics, state-of-the-art orthopedic care, and community involvement.
