“Repeat visit, possibly "pre-preop." He made nonoperative and operative recommendations, and we discussed possible operative complications. My age (76) is a negative for such major reconstructive foot surgery (should have done it 30 years ago). He recommended a brace; I declined. I'll wait and possibly consider surgery early next year. He was not pushy or upset with my reluctance to follow his recommendations, just smiled with an "oh well" look — a nice guy.”

“Dr. Linford was to the point. Made it clear I need surgery, and he will take care of my foot. I do have a lot of questions on my Lisfranc injury. Like will I be able to live in this house with three flights of stairs? Will I be able to walk normally with screws in my foot? Can I go back to work with my scooter the next week or will I want too? How will this affect my restless leg syndrome? Of course, those are things you think of on the ride home. Dr. Linford and staff did terrifically! Thank you!”
