Casper Orthopedics and Additional Sponsors to Host Concert to Benefit Wounded Service Members at Beartrap Summer Festival

Casper Orthopedics, Summit Medical Center, Elkhorn Valley Rehabilitation Hospital, Sonny’s RVs, Memorial Hospital of Converse County and Wyoming Behavioral Institute are partnering to host a summer concert on Sunday, Aug. 4, during the Beartrap Summer Festival. Open to the public, the performance will begin at 10 a.m. at Beartrap Meadow, located off of County Road 505 at Casper Mountain. Tickets for the Beartrap Summer Festival can be purchased online for $35 for a one-day pass or $70 for a two-day pass at beartrapsummerfestival.com.

“Bagpipes at Beartrap” will feature the Lander Volunteer Fire Department Pipe Band and members of the staff at Casper Orthopedics. The concert will be in honor of service members and will serve to raise awareness for the Jerry Behrens Foundation, which supports wounded firefighters and members of the military and police as well as their families.

The Jerry Behrens Foundation was established in honor of the lifelong achievements and commitment to community service that was demonstrated by Jerome A. Behrens, M.D., co-founder of Casper Orthopedics. Casper Orthopedics funds the administrative cost of services so that all financial contributions to the foundation go directly to its beneficiaries.

A limited number of free tickets are available for fire department, police and military members and their families at Casper Orthopedics. Those seeking to attend the event are encouraged to call (307) 265-7205.
