Front Office Lead Coordinator (Casper Orthopedics): The Front Office Lead Coordinator will create and coordinate schedules to ensure staff coverage. This position will orientate & train new employees, and conduct education of existing staff.  The ideal candidate will maintain policies and procedures as well as identify and assist in recommending new processes.Vacancy: Physical Therapist .ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Perform therapeutic evaluations of clients to include, but not limited to, the evaluation of assistive and adaptive devices, environmental barriers, ergonomics and body mechanics, gait, locomotion and balance, motor function, muscle control, etc.Provide assessments, document intervention plans and track progress. Licensure or eligible for licensure in the State of Wyoming as a Physical Therapist.

Medical Assistant (Casper Orthopedics): The Medical Assistant (MA) prepares patients to see the physicians, facilitates lab tests, x-rays,  paperwork as needed, and assists the clinic nurse with clinical duties as directed. The MA provides clinical support, greets patients, and informs the physician when patient is ready in exam room. The MA may assist physicians and mid-levels prepping patients for examinations and minor procedures. This position may spend significant time scheduling: diagnostic tests, MRI’s, x-rays, surgeries and other medical procedures. The MA relies heavily on a computer system by entering notes, retrieving medical records, and updating records. The MA needs to have good communications skills, be detailed oriented and have excellent follow thru.  Please Note: This position will require occasional travel to satellite clinics throughout Wyoming.

Ortho Care Now Triage Coordinator  The Triage Coordinator performs assessments of patients (in person and via phone) and directs them to the correct provider(s). Prefer an associate’s degree in a discipline related to health care. Athletic trainer, LPN or RN. Two years medical experience and a solid understanding of sports related injuries.

  • Monitors and responds to triage calls in person and/or on the phone.
  • Talks directly to patients on the telephone and then directs them to emergency rooms (ER), urgent care centers, and home care advice, or schedule patients to be seen at Casper Orthopedics immediately or in the future.
  • Determines urgency of seeing the patient based on brief assessment and on familiarity with a patient’s condition and history.
  • Uses computerized clinical decision making including algorithms that closely imitate physician logic and thought patterns, as guide.
  • Sends patients with high-risk chief complaints such as chest pain, abdominal pain, or severe headaches to ER immediately or arranges for ambulance.

Vacancy: Physician’s Assistant/Nurse Practitioner. The NP/PA will treat & perform assessments of patients presenting to Casper Orthopedics. With focuses on treating a range of orthopedic and sports medicine injuries and chronic conditions, and provide preventative care, and on a walk-in basis via Ortho Care Now. Injuries we treat include anything related to the foot, ankle, knee, hip, wrist, hand, elbow, shoulder and spine, in addition to pre-concussion testing. We treat aches, breaks, pains, and strains. Ortho Care Now is an acute orthopedics related walk in clinic and provides healthcare services under the supervision of a physician. Qualifications and Experience: Licensure in the State of Wyoming as a Nurse Practitioner or PA;NCCPA, DEA Required; BLS, ACLS Preferred; Bilingual a plus; Two years medical experience, preferably with emergency room experience, family practice, or an understanding of sports related injuries.

Vacancy: Patient Care Coordinator (PCC- Therapy Department). The Patient Care Coordinator greets patients and other visitors; directs patients/visitors to the appropriate provider and services; collects/updates demographic information; schedules patient appointments; is courteous, polite and helpful to the public and clients at all times when representing Casper Orthopedics. Qualifications: Experience as a receptionist, preferably in a healthcare setting;  Warm outgoing personality; Ability to interact effectively and in a supportive manner with persons of all backgrounds ; Excellent telephone skills and etiquette ; Ability to work well under pressure;  Ability to work accurately and efficiently; Must have computer knowledge, Microsoft Office experience a must.
