Scheduling Once it has been determined that you need outpatient surgery, the staff of the Wyoming Surgical Center will be able to coordinate your visit. Our employees have been trained to assist you from admission to discharge.
The day your procedure, you will call Wyoming Surgical Center to review your pre-op instructions. On the day of surgery, you will receive an appropriate evaluation of your health status from our professional staff. Once your procedure has been completed, you will receive instructions on caring for yourself after discharge. Follow up appointments and therapy appointments will be made for you following your procedure. Wyoming Surgical Center can also call in any prescriptions you may have. One of our Registered Nurses will make a follow-up call once you have gone home.
On the day of the surgery, it is important that you have an escort available to drive you home after the surgery. Your escort is welcome to accompany you as preparations are made for your surgery. During the procedure, your escort may wait in our lobby or stay in touch via our guest paging system. Every effort will be made to make sure your escort is comfortable during your procedure.
Wyoming Surgical Center is proud of their new, state of the art, facility and we would be happy to give you a tour before your surgery. By visiting with us before your surgery, you will be comfortable with the facility and staff before your procedure. Please call us at (307) 472-4780 to schedule your visit.
Billing Information Wyoming Surgical Center strives to provide quality care at a fair price. An estimate of the facility's fee for the procedure can be given before, or at the time of the service. The estimate is only for the facility fee. Other healthcare professionals (surgeon, anesthesiologist, etc) will generate their own bills for services provided.
You will be asked to present your insurance card during registration. A copy of this card will be made to help us with proper claims submission. If your insurance requires special authorization, referrals, or special claim forms, please present the necessary forms to the front desk by the day of service. We will be happy to bill your insurance company for you. However, payment is the patient's responsibility. Employees are available to assist you with insurance billing and other payment options. Please feel free to speak with them regarding your account. We accept cash, checks, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover for your convenience.
Confidentiality Your medical records are confidential, so it is necessary for you to sign a release before we may send information to you insurance company, any attorney or other third party. Before we may release any information to your attorney, we must have a written request from him/her. The fee for copying records varies.
It is very important that the office be given a 72-hour notice to prepare your copies for you.
